Concert on 16 September 1947

The auditorium of the Radio House on Masurenallee in Berlin was primarily functional, if not particularly attractive.

Despite its size, the acoustics were neutral, rather dry and not very warm. But it must be acknowledged that in a Berlin that was nothing but ruins, this hall offered an alternative to the Titania-Palast, the usual venue for BPO concerts, ... with equally questionable acoustics.
