Concert of 5 December 1940

The concert, featuring Furtwängler's 2nd Sonata with Georg Kulenkampff had been scheduled for December 8th. In the end it took place on the 5th, as part of an extensive tour with an identical programme.

The Sonata was first performed in Elberfeld on 16 February of the same year, also as a prelude to a tour that included performances on 17 February in Hamburg, 22 February in Berlin and ? (around 27 February) in Halle.
